I had all of the above in fact the check airman box was the tipping point since I was called a month after I checked that box. I don't look down on anyone without a bachelors degree but I'm proud of my accomplishments and getting a bachelors degree was part of the journey. Barriers to entry are a good thing as long as they are achievable. I would much prefer airlines sweeten the airline pilot pot that start dropping the requirements.
From our experience, Southwest will consider any applicant that meets their requirements. Sure, something like Check Airman will boost the chances, but anyone meeting their application and hiring mins should feel confident. Keep a solid, updated resume and application.
