I had to call SAPA a few times when I was new and got zero help. One rep was actually cool and went through the PPM with me to find an answer, but in the end I still got what was basically a  reply with no actual help.

I was given RJ's number and told to call him to ask my question because "he's the guy with the answers". He gave me 2 minutes of his time and told me he didn't know the answer, was aware of the problem and to just call management because they could help me more, which was BS.

After hanging up I looked up more rep numbers and was shocked to find out, the guy I just called was the damn president! (Like I said, I was still very new to the company). I couldn't believe the guy at the top told me the solution to my problem was to contact management and ask for help.

I have no interest in seeing ALPA at a place like SKYW because I don't personally think they could help us, but I do want to see a real, legal union. If SAPA could turn into a real in house union, one that doesn't answer to management, I'd gladly sign over a percentage of my paycheck over for real representation.
