What is the flying like at ATI?
As of now, ATI has three contracts.
1) Air Mobility Command, AMC. We provide lift to the military with our 757Combi in the Pacific and Atlantic theaters. To my knowledge, ATI is the only US Flag carrier offering 757Combi service and the only one for AMC. This contract is by far our most lucrative and longest running one.
2) DHL. We provide 757F lift for DHL US with four tails out of CVG
3) Amazon. At the moment we have 9 tails with two on the way.
?) In the past, ATI was very active in the Adhoc charter world. Our Op Specs are very unique which enables us to carry some very "unique" stuff. But with the ramp up for AZ, we've had slow this aspect of our business down. Mgt has said to expect us to be active in this arena 2018.
As for your first question, the carriers mentioned by Woog are all IBT 1224 carriers. ATI is ALPA. I'll just leave it at that.
