Despite what your friends at Skywest and RAH may tell you, 3 years is not a long time to upgrade to a 53,000 pound jet...especially if somebody is hired into an RJ with 500-600 hours total time. There is a LOT of experience, knowledge and professionalism to be gained in that time.
