First thing: Written tech test (sheppard air type) but no calculators needed - so don't worry about the pallet/straps/floor load limit cr*p
Score 80% or go home - only 25 Qs, so no more than 5 wrong paper and pencil, no time limit, so just check, dbl and triple check

decode a metar - long - not just the basic 5-6 things, but all the stuff at the end that your eyes normally just glaze over when you see it. I always brief meters and TAFs in manly(raw) not sissy(decoded) format, so it was easy.
