Most pilots will not make a career out of Colgan Air and I see no reason why one could not enjoy a good QOL and build your turbine pic time and move on to the major's, fractional or whatever. I just got hired last week and look forward to my time there and we'll just have to see what the next 6 mos-1yr bring. If I can spend more time at home and see my daughter grow up it will be worth some of the bs that I might encounter. We all have to make sacrifices here and there. Which ones you make are up to your needs.
Ii agree, I tend to rant, I just had a very SH*TTY time at COLGAN, but I was based in a MX base, far far away from home, not to mention I was mostly on reserve in ALB so I got ABUSED..............but I agree I have talked to people whos situation were'nt anything close to mine, but I have also talked to people who pretty much went through what I went through, most of them are no longer at Colgan, but to each his own.........
