The other questions were answered above. But as to 1,000 121 time, that is up to you to fly as much or as little as possible. 18 months at EDV is very doable. 12 may be, if you try hard enough. Get 1,000, and you will upgrade. Many already have 1,000 and haven't upgraded, so you will beat them to CA if you upgrade right at 1,000.
