Preach it! It only takes a quick look around at the pilot ranks to see that the argument of women and minorities "takin' er jerbs!" doesn't hold any water. I can think of plenty of "average white male" types (myself included!) in the aviation world who have advanced well ahead of better qualified and more deserving minority populations.

This guy in another thread also caught my eye. As a white, secular male I guess I shouldn't care how Alabama treats blacks, or how Germany treats Jews or how human traffickers treat refugees? I'm not part of any of those groups so it's not my concern, right? I should just butt out? Great! That's a weight off my mind
