I have plenty of experience taxiing at towered airports, but that's not the point. I expect to have to learn I'm not denying that. But there are two of us up there. At the end of the day, it's the captains ship, and I'll be there to observe and to learn the 121 environment.
Too bad "observation" isn't in the job description for a First Officer. I'd be pretty ****ed if a FO said to me "I'm just here to watch and see what you do." This isn't an internship.
