Who actually tracks IMC time. The military doesn't. FedEx doesn't. I've never seen anyone actually write down the time that they entered and exited the clouds, not even when I flew with the guy wearing the kimono.
We feel quite differently then because i have never heard of anyone logging time they are under an IFR flight plan.....sounds ridiculous.
Who cares if you know how to file a flight plan?

There is a space in pilot log books for Actual IFR time...and simulated IFR time(foggles)
