Taxes - I am lost
Hello!
Quick background - early 20s, single, no kids, no mortgage, first year as airline pilot (9E, mention for retention bonus purposes).
I've been reading a bunch about itemizing per diem, but my understanding is it might not actually make much of a difference in my situation. Is it worth going through a aviation tax prep service and itemizing my per diem or just going about a 1040EZ and calling it done.
Sincerely,
Someone who really should understand taxes better and blames taking thirty English classes but nothing about how to function as an adult in high school.
