We just don't have the airplanes. Even if the rumors of the JFK 190 base going away are true, they are still needed in the North East doing short haul in and out of BOS/JFK.

Not having enough airplanes is jetblue's biggest problem right now all around (hiring and retaining pilots in a close second). So many under served markets with one or two flights a day at odd times... not to mention markets in the middle of the country where we could clean up that we don't fly at all.
