If I learned anything being an airline pilot in the past couple of decades, it's that pilots have a long term memory problems, and are the most egocentric bunch of prima donnas, especially those that got hired at legacy carries at age 21 and have never experienced anything else.
Pilots will be the most "caught of guard" labor group in the world, when technology will engineer us out of the flight deck. But most likely, we'll blame Mexicans and 3rd world countries for that.
