Ew. No. To make hitting 1000 TPIC a lot more painless. It's the only base with zero movement, so between the company's shenanigans and commuting to assist right seat anyway, really starting to wonder if it might just be better to get an Airbus type instead. I've tried to be understanding of those fellas with 20+ years, but man, it's getting harder and harder to empathize.

I am considering Mesa because I live in Houston
Go to anyone else in Houston.

There's a training contract. I think it's $12 or $13k, reduced around a thousand dollars a month, so after a year you wouldn't owe anything if you left. In training you get paid minimum guarantee with no per diem ($22.18x76 is your monthly income). There is a bonus but it's not much, you'll never get the full amount, and everyone here will despise you for taking any of it since we didn't get anything and our goal is to starve management of new hires so we can get a new and fair contract after seven years of stalling and bad faith negotiations by the company. Basically, don't come here.
