And DON'T listen to anyone running around the lounge spouting about how you are:
-Too old
-Too experienced
-Too WASPy
-Not recently gone through initial
-Too anything else they can think of.

That is 100% BS. I don't understand why some people do that. Don't try and talk yourself out of success-and don't discourage others. I can think of exceptions to every single one of those things I've ever heard. I know people who have failed check rides and had real life violations who wound up at the airline of their choice. I was supposed to be "too this and that," but none of it matters once you sit down at the interview. It's all up to you to turn any of that stuff into a positive-and it can be done.
