Very refreshing, indeed.
For the first time in many, many years it appears that UAL just might actually be trying to run an airline.
Let's hope the "talk" continues to result in actions. Talk is the easy part and we're not there yet.
But if it does, it pretty much validates every customer and employee criticism of the Tilton and Smisek regimes.
Here's my fearless aircraft predictions after the dust settles:
