ULCC's offer two things to the public, low upfront fares (spiked with fees) and cherry pick leisure point-to-point routes that can fill up a 320 at least a few times a week.
I can't really argue any of your points. They will pay us...eventually or this experiment will end. I don't think anyone here enjoys being the lowest paid in the industry. We are in negotiations. We will see this through to the end and they WILL pay us what we are worth. Every last dime!
