2-2.5 upgrade is not out of the realm of possibility. If we continue to hire at this rate then 2-2.5 will most definitely happen. I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie Bucket came close to being the 2.5 upgrade time. I think he will at least be awarded one on the bid.
This is especially true with so many FOs bypassing upgrade. I think because of them Charlie Bucket will actually happen by the end of the year.
