Do they plan far enough ahead that it means they know to release seat locks to fill them in coming bids?

They usually just cancel the flight if it cant be filled. This company is notorious for not planning ahead... Captains are NOT dual seat qualified. I wouldnt be worried about too many CAs. We have ZERO 145 reserve pilots on either side.
