Glad you got your rightful pay. Now this is not meant to be a slam against you, but I'm curious as to why going through your pay advice was something you did after a year? Why is this not something every pilot or even every worker period is not monitoring on a weekly/monthly basis?
That is one thing, of many, that my father instilled in us growing up: always verify your pay and don't just trust your employer won't short change you no matter how good your boss or company appears to be. They are words I have followed since my very first job.
Yes, it is the Company's job to pay employees correctly, but how do you know if you don't check for yourself? My family and personal life depend on my income. So, "trust but verify" are sage words for anyone.
Pay was NEVER an issue until CCS. We never had to check it because it was spot on with one single screen on Unimatic that showed all changes and the initials with timestamp of who did it and why. It was a huge wake up call to many of us that now we have to spend our free time hunting and pecking through multiple links on CCS making sure the company IT department wasn't screwing us.
