That is a great idea! With $2.4bil in US GDP at #1 in the nation, I think CA will do just fine on its own. Keep CA $ in the state and cut support to FEDs. CA is the 6th largest economy in the world.
CA would look like Venezuela 6 months after they left the United States. The Calpers and Calsters pension fund would be raided by the politicians and the new country would collapse in less than a year begging to be brought back into the fold
