I think the flavor of the month right now at Allegiant and maybe other LCC's is 2500-5000 hours. They don't want too much or too little. Lot of highly qualified people with tons of hours turned away, I see this as a repeating pattern here on these forums. They may feel you will not be happy being FO for someone with less experience than you have.
