Most of the guys I know who have been getting calls from the majors from ISR were prior military pilots. If you are a prior military pilot ISR is becoming a more regular pathway to 121 operations beyond the regionals, not really sure about folks with a pure civilian aviation background.
That's kind of what I figured, I only know one who did ISR -> Major, and that was his scenario...retired military.
