While you may be right that MOST of the time this is not an issue, it should never happen IMO.
The FAs were encouraging customers to take the bedding/pillows with them during the Polaris rollout... my wife was on a RT flight to FRA and heard the FAs tell passengers that it was OK. I seriously doubt that the company was OK with this offer... its absurd to think that you can take away bedding after a 7+ hour flight. There is a reason that hotels are putting RFID tags on towels, bedding and pillows...
