Anyone know when their contract became amendable? And how long they have been negotiating?
I'm 90% sure their contract became amendable after ours. They went to mediation faster than we did too.
Edit: Just found it. This is directly off the ALPA site.....
"The pilots and the company began talks on a new contract in May 2015. The pilots’ goal was to conduct a streamlined negotiation with a limited number of issues in order to achieve an agreement by the contract amendable date of Sept. 14, 2016."
So they started negotiating a couple of months after we did and their contract was amendable a full year after ours. 🤢
