FWIW, JetBlue
did have a deal for gates at ORD with the City of Chicago back in 2003 but then UA decided that they would, in fact, pay all the fees and back rents rather than let
anybody else have gates in Terminal One. After the deal went south, David N. even publicly mentioned that he felt JB was used as a pawn by the city in their negotaitions and we would not be in ORD anytime soon.
