It's hard to believe how great the opportunities are right now to get into flying part 121, especially after watching friends deal with furloughs and slow career progression in the years following 9/11.
You're not joking. this place really has done a 180 in a few years. Looking back how I was furloughed for 10 months. Sat As a fo on a rsv for almost 2 years w no upgrade in sight. And now today I get to fly w new guys and say w conviction "I am so happy for you all who are here right now. You will never have to sit a day of rsv and upgrade when you have the time. Ya lucky sob!!" I flew w a lot of heli pilots on the dash, all great sticks and answered all my questions, which were many. Only heli I fly is the ones I thumb into the ground and have to repair before next flight. I'm sure you will be fine w interview!
