How is it ignorant? You can make more at American Eagle or Endeavor in your first 5 years than Hawaiian. Endeavor pays more than $35/hr and you get a $20k yearly bonus. The next year you'll make $100k as a captain. Plus you can commute from a low cost city, instead of living in Honolulu. And we are talking about a regional, not a so-called legacy.
