So make sure you get paid - not just something put in your make up bank. There's too many of us that have hundreds of hours in our make up bank that will never be able to make up. It's only make up - it's not money. If nothing else, have them assign you R-24 for two days. If the company doesn't pay, grieve it, even if ALPA says it doesn't want to. Thanks, yeah I'm waiting for a reply from ALPA on this one. I can't believe that we would have this loophole in the contract. I heard that you used to get paid for your bidline back in the day, even if training knocked out a trip, and there was no sub. The good old days!
