Yes, it wasn't very tough, but it seemed to me they were more interested in what sort of person I am and probably figured with an ATP, several types, and jet time, I know how to fly an airplane. My experience with their recruiters and the Capts who interviewed me was very positive; I didn't accept the offer that came a couple of days later because of the low pay.

The Republic interview was a washout becuase the Skype connection was terrible, but they weren't willing to 'hang up' and start again or reschedule: it really was a joke - couldn't hear their questions, etc. The interview itself wasn't any more thorough than Mesa and it was with an HR person and an FO unlike Mesa which (as above) was two Capts, which I thought was more appropriate. I got a TBNT's and wasn't surprised: they probably thought I was deaf as I kept saying, "Say again?"

My Skywest interview was definitely the most intense and longest - about 4 hours with a CRJ check Capt. We had some IT trouble to start, but unlike Republic, the SKW CA was willing to take the time to sort it out. The gouge was pretty much spot on (I still had to draw the diagrams and hold them up to the camera) but, of course, there was a lot of conversation outside of the questions asked that the gouge doesn't cover. I got the CJO the next day. Obviously, a face-to-face interview is better (I'd have preferred that as well), but still, given how thorough the interview was, I don't think it's fair to say - at least in my experience - SKW is hiring anybody who can fog a mirror.
did they say why they didn't fly you to denver for the interview?
