There are so many pilots here who have been working hard and putting up with abuse for 10-20 years. These guys have been waiting on the come for something that never materializes.
This company has perpetrated some down right evil actions against this pilot group over the years. Time and the value of money has been lost by this group and many of us are too old/over qualified to make the move. Those who can certainly are. Many of us simply have to ride this train until it goes off the tracks.
The Atlas Air management team is devoid of honor and ethics and are drunk from money that was not earned but appropriated through corporate shenanigans.

None the less, I just call BS as I see it, total BS...like the MX post. If it happened then I am glad he reported it....and I thanked him. But without substantiation or proof, his words are worth nothing, especially when worded just to incite an uprising!! Or the idiotic claims of imputed income...vastly exaggerated ..again with no proof and I don't see any body rushing to put up a redacted pay stub. It has all been, "my buddy this...", and "a guy I know that....". Can't you see that?!
BUT, I have never put anybody down for fighting the good fight AGAINST management for suing us or being "ALL IN". But, being "all in" doesn't entitle anyone to put stories up here saying, "I have a buddy it happened to as well so it must be true".
THIS IS A WEB FORUM PEOPLE....so choose words carefully. I wouldn't doubt that corporate lawyers are coming through this thread picking it apart in an attempt to ascertain and undermine our position. See how that works? MY POSITION...I'm not saying, "...some guy down the road so it must be true". Let's try another one: "I had a feeling that some of the cargo on board our AC weren't packaged to spec so I filed a report". One more: "I heard that there are training failures attributed to the new FO type. Anybody else heard that? I know it happened to at least one guy. I wonder if it is more widespread". .....keeping it the "real" zone. (this paragraph not meant for you shrugged)
I have been in this industry for a short 12 years and I was an ALPA fool as an RJ CA and left after 9 to come here so I understand contract negotiations and conflict of interest and so on but making crap up doesn't strengthen our position.
Feel free to continue with the BS and wild claims and I'll continue with the shovel.....(also, not meant for you shrugged).
I too am going to ride this train until it comes off the tracks(for my own reasons)....but I am not going to help them do it. Nor will I fly outside of the contract. I never have and I never will. At the end of the day, I want to help the prospective candidates of this thread get the information that they need to make an informed decision about coming here, but lately it has become a BULL CRAP, whining, and complaining thread totally devoid of the information the prospective applicants are seeking.
