Wow. Way to just sh!t on a guy's watch. Who are you to tell him how to spend his money?? This one of the most iconic watches in history, and many people love it. Are you going to tell someone with a Hamilton Jazzmaster that should have just bought a Datejust and not some Hamilton? And there is a VAST difference in price. You find a new Speedy for around $3500 if you look. A GMT-II? $9500 minimum.
To the poster with the Speedy, great watch. It's on my list of five that I'd like to have.
