Default Horizon Air

If Horizon Air is what a good job is supposed to be then I would rather work for the post office.

During my time there I wasted away in the right seat for years while earning $492 every two weeks. Every day you sit on the right is a lost day in terms of your career. It doesnt matter how much the pay is or what kind of work rules you have the regionals are a dead end. The only thing that matters is how fast you can upgrade and if it is in an RJ or not.

Horizon Air is a career killer. If you are satisfied with reaching post office wages in 10 years and spending your life grinding a path between SEA and PDX then you have found your home.

Occasionally flight students excitedly tell me that their "flight instructor just got hired at Horizon"! I always tell them that mine did too and they are still there. A few get out but not many.
