What amuses me is that a $20 digital throw-away keeps better time than any 4-figure (or 5-figure) high-name brand. They're mostly fashion statements nowadays.
They said Juan Trippe used to buy Rolexes for his pilots back in the day -- when pilots needed stuff like that. That would've been nice.
