My main point is to say that the LCPs need standardization. There's a simple process that should be adopted in conditioning new pilots to line operations. Not having one LCP cram a newb with eons of information and then the next LCP adding something completely different. I say standardization must be exhibited by the cadre of LCPs and then line ops would also follow suit, in theory.
About line check blitzes. I am such a proponent to safe operating. I'm all for it. I also like when LCPs are knit-picky (phonetic) and point out small things that are correctable. It's commendable when the crew only has that to be corrected on.
Finally, I have received reports that we have a few probationary pilots that are on like their 3rd or even 4th missed trip and even a couple of Section 19s. Call me mean, but I say get rid of them. What sayeth though about the matter?
