This last link is to a website run by pilots from Kalitta Air, a 747 operator out of Michigan. This post details their problems flying into the Republic of Russia. It normally wouldn't be of interest to us, since we fly out of places like Anchorage and Lafayette and Fort Lauderdale.... but a few of us might get something out of it.

It occurs to me that flying into Russia might not be as easy as asking for the borscht....
