It's already been said there's a lot of overthinking to this situation. Airlineapps.com is a third party tool. UAL doesn't run that website. Selecting the box is simply a way separating the tall stack of resumes. They could have also said "select that you have 99 hours on the space shuttle." It's just a way to sort the stack. Relax and move on.

If you don't know something, ask a question or stay quiet! No need to make up stuff. False information can be dangerous. Hopefully folks wont have to explain to United during their CPP interview why they had to be told to correct their application, thanks to your bad advice........
