I'm also upset about the demise of FlightTrackPro. I would load my entire pairing. Made it easy to see what gate was planned and if you were changing planes or what gate your deadhead was at. Great quick way to check if your first flight in the morning was delayed before you left the hotel at 0430, and the map view was a neat screenshot for friends and family.
Anyway, I am trying out FlightUpdatePro. It has similar functionality at FlightTrack, but the interface isn't as user friendly. For instance you can't just look up a flight, you have to create a "trip" and then "add flight" to enable the search function. Not horribly difficult, but not as simple as flighttrack. The flight list does still provide the gate information and if the flight is delayed.
It seems to work fine for my needs (regional pilot and commuter), it provides all the same info as FTP, albeit not as cleanly and I feel it is worth the $10, but I would be willing to pay $20 to have FlightTrackPro back. FTP was just better
