Spirit is the best. You'll only have to work 7 or 8 days a month to credit 100+ hours, if you know the system. You can easily make $70K your first year, if you live in base! Jr. Captains are in the area of $200k/year.

Ask any pilot with a black and yellow SPIRIT lanyard, there's a reason they are not wearing the green ones. Especially FLL, those guys and gals have it dialed in. Big boats, exotic cars, and nice houses or condos on the beach are all easily attainable by people who take the time to work the system and bid with bot software (perfectly legal). Several FLL CAs own their own airplanes and one even has a home in the Bahamas! If being a Vegas high roller is more your style, just wait and see what you can do out west.

Crew scheduling usually calls in the morning and you can pick which available trip you would like to fly, you elect to receive Move Up pay or Junior Assignment pay, and you let them know which RSV or trips to drop and pay protect.

Upgrade is around 3 years, and will remain the same for the foreseeable future. There are also lots of opportunities to join the Training Department if you want to make $$$. Just be ready to step-up and take a leadership role, even if it means manning the telephones for HQ during a crisis.

Our management is fantastic. It's the High Five culture, and we even have entertaining videos from our COO and a comedian to highlight employees who go above and beyond to make More Go Happen for our customers. You will get frequent "thanks for everything you do" from executives, recognizing our contributions to make Spirit one of the world's most profitable airlines. Thanks in-part to our efforts, Spirit was recently able to re-invest $100 million dollars in company stock to ensure a return-on-investment for our shareholders.

Sometimes, we are asked to extend our duty day to get the job done. Spirit pilots are always proud to do our part to help our passengers get to where they need to be. Our on-time performance and completion factors are both rising rapidly compared to other airlines...even the legacies.

I think my favorite part about Spirit (other than the pay, QOL, and culture) is flying 182 customers around in a brand new A320 NEO. Did you know that we were the launch customer for North America? It's so amazing that the contrails actually streak rainbows across the sky!

Hope that helps. Try to get to a job fair ASAP, if you want to be called quickly for an interview. There are all kinds of job fairs to promote special interests across the country, and that's where the interviewers are at.

Good Luck!
