I haven't seen any mention of rotor wing folks with Delta.
The trend seems to be hiring younger lately.
When it comes to apps and getting "fix it" emails, are they looking for exact dates on jobs (to the day), residency, etc, or is the month good enough?
First of all, thank you for your service. I've flown with a couple of Army rotor wing pilots recently and a good friend of mine at Delta is a Navy rotor wing pilot, so they do hire rotor wing. They all got some fix wing time prior to Delta.

I don't think the trend is hiring younger, because they prefer younger, it just might be due to a younger pool of candidates. I think your military training background will be viewed as a plus, whether fixed or rotor wing.

Regarding your application. Kill them with detail. It's a good sign if they are pimping you for more detail. I had a buddy with his app in and he never got a call. I inquired and learned that they wanted more details on where and when he got all his training. He sent them everything he could possibly think of and got an interview shortly thereafter. Best of luck to you.
