Let's use this comparison. I make $121/hour. A United Airbus FO at my longevity makes $157/hour. That's a 33% difference right there. Add the retirement difference of 3% (I'm using your numbers there not mine) and now I'm at 36%. Bring healthcare into the debate and I'm well over 40% difference. Profit sharing should never be used in compensation comparisons as it's upon management to run a profitable company and we cannot rely on that to happen to be properly compensated.
You would need a 30% increase not 33. So your rate is a total of 33%. And your right that does not include other benefits.
