Maybe something like that after you pay for your own PPL, the player has to have some skin in the game.
Makes sense. Even with loans, there still has to be something worthwhile on the other side so the investment in the expensive training makes sense. No one wants to pull out a $100,000 education loan knowing they'll only be making $30,000 per year. Too much risk with little guaranteed reward.
