Aren't all the Gulfstreams with NJI?
I only knew one guy who went from the USMC to NJI directly and he ended up flying the Commandant's Gulfstream for a tour before retirement.
As far as being held to LtCol standards and being treated like a LCpl - - seems a lot of people find that to be the truth in the *civilian* world. The levels of responsibility in many workplaces isn't what you are going to find in the military.
