I used to have LogBook Pro (still do, technically, I guess). Now I have a Macbook, an iPad, and an iPhone, and I don't want to have to buy a Windows emulator (like Parallels ($80)) and a new version of Windows ($119) just to run LogBook Pro (or use bootcamp and have to reboot my Mac every time I want to access my logbook). That's $200 for access to my logbook.
So, I was thinking LogTen Pro X. But, it seems as of March 2017, the new update (version 7.4) requires you pay a $99 subscription each year. This used to be an issue for the iPad and iPhone only, but is now a MacBook issue as well - right?
I'm not the most tech savvy guy. Am I understanding this correctly - $100/year for the Mac, and another $80/year (or is it $100?) for the iPhone or iPad, or pay $200 to get access to LogBook Pro (which I already own!)?
