And herein lies the common misconception of the regional pilot. Almost everyone I know at my airline has an active airline apps profile of some sort. They have had this profile active for quite some time. Many update the profile and attend job fairs. I know very few people at our regional that have actually been hired at a major. Everyone may be hiring but they apparently do not want to the Herpes Xjt virus on them. Seems there is some kind of stigma on the XJT (ASA) group or something. I think Delta hired like 64 guys out of 1300 last year from the entire XJT group. Yuck.
