Bottom line, if you're in the zone of consideration and you're available, you'll likely get an interview. A trip to a fair can't put you in the zone of consideration. Nor take you out. Fortunately, meeting with a line pilot that hires pilots as an additional duty can really help someone that hasn't done their due diligence with their resume or pilot credentials. But it it won't make you more hirable. Hours do. Job titles do. Degrees do. And of course...the all magical type.

In the end, this is all about your app and your availability, period.
