If we doubled or typical frequency, that would take us from one trip to two trips between city pairs by doubling out fleet. That's without adding cities. I'm guessing management just wants to get the best deal they can on planes.. But as someone else already pointed out, Airbus has an order backlog of 7000 jets. And the C-Series uses the troublesome Pratt geared motors. I think we should have gone with the next-gen CFMs.. Sad to see that NEO statue always parked in the DFW penalty box.
