I think you should differentiate between complaining and expressing excitement to fly. Not once have I said a negative thing about the break. I'm sorry that you are jaded, but honestly I don't care what you think. I busted my ass to get to this point. I started by tossing bags and emptying lavs while working my way up the corporate ladder and going to flight school. So I'm so sorry that I have a genuine desire to be at Envoy and get out there and be abused for a bit. I want to fly and can't wait to see that first trip show up in my schedule.
Dude it sounded like you had a good attitude. Don't let someone rain on your parade. I totally am on your side about not wanting to sit at home for 7+ weeks. Just let the guy be grumpy elsewhere.
Seriously, God forbid someone want to work? Really the attitude you have towards someone who has a different viewpoint than yours? Must be fun to be on a 4 day with you. Some people don't have the luxury of just travelling on their days off. Have an open mind.
