Parking two airplanes, and fresh off the printers, Alaska told everyone in their most recent interviews that Horizon is short of pilots if you come from there it will be 6 months before a class date, meanwhile compass pilots get the next class and all of the seniority.
At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they take delivery on our first 3 jets and then give the rest away to skywest. It will be cheaper for them to give jets away we don't have rather than park Qs and spend thousands displacing and typing CAs and FOs. We have our first jet; the company has everything they need to activate PBS and our concessionary contract.
Brad and Ali will probably release some announcement saying due to the pilot shortage and inability to attract FOs, the company has decided to give all future jet deliveries to SkyWest until we can properly staff the airline, this will position us for growth blah blah blah. They will blame the pilots for not giving them what they want, and the cycle will continue.
