The problem we have is we fly over to theatre, but then fly many shorter legs intra-theatre. So block credit goes out the window, and trip-rig becomes the driver.

So what we needed was a 3.5-1 Trip to get an extra day off, same credit. Heck, back in the "day" the majors had a 3 to 1 Trip-rig!!! 8 hours pay per day. ahh, memories.

But I was wondering do any UAL/DL lines have 10 on 20 off flying other than long haul turns?
As for your first paragraph, you are just plain wrong and I stand by my earlier post. The ewr to Asia trips (except nrt) including India are 4 days. Do 3 and you work 12, not 9 days and your pay is close to 89, not 75.

As for the rest, you're right. Jeez, if our team had only thought of that. Maybe we should have suggested it.

Finally, United and Delta don't have lines, they have pbs. Can you get a 9 day a month domestic schedule? If you are willing to take the pay hit you could but it wouldn't be pretty.
